M.R.O. #8, Only The Lonely, or Hump Night

MRO Strip 8_Only The Lonely

Here we are again. I don't have much to write this week. I'm super busy working on comics and other writing projects, while also trying to be a husband and father.

Next week, we will be posting a Special Thing.

M.R.O. #6, The Boracle, Part 2

MRO Strip 6_Boracle2

This strip took me forever to draw. I honestly don't know how the pros do entire books with the regularity they do. Speaking of professionals, have you seen my friend Metro Catpiss's comic, Danger Brigade? It's the business.

Friendly handshakes,
Tim

And so begins the epic Boracle Trilogy of Monster Roy Orbison and that Kid. Come back next week to see what happens next.

DD #1

Hey, there. Meet David, a depressed devil. He's way sad, but it might help him to smile if you share this with all of your friends. Remember to come back next Tuesday, when you'll get to see what Monster Roy's been up to.

Hugs,
Tim

M.R.O. #1, Problem Solver

Hello, and welcome to Something Something Comics. This is Tim, writing to you from the backyard of a stranger's house. I cowrite these strips with Matt--the other half of SSC--and draw them with a lot of direction from him.

Our aim is to release a new strip every week, and make you puke with laughter and revulsion or whatever.

Before we began creating these strips together, I was doing a drawing every day, as a way to procrastinate from my other writing responsibilities, and posting them to my tumblr. One night, I decided to do a drawing of Roy Orbison as a monster. Many people seemed to like it, Matt in particular. One thing led to another, and we started making these strips together, and I successfully started a project which I could use to procrastinate full-time from my other writing works.

We hope you like what we're doing, and if you do, you share it with every single person you know.

Tim
